The Golden Triangle of Odisha, reminiscent of its counterpart in North India, offers a mesmerizing journey through the cultural and architectural gems of the state. On arrival at Bhubaneswar airport / railway station transfer to hotel.Later if time permit half day sightseeing of tribal museum ( closed on Monday ), Khandagiri & Udaigiri Jain caves (oldest rock cut caves, the caves are reminiscent of influence of Buddhism and Jainism in Odisha). Overnight at Bhubaneswar.
Morning after breakfast visit to famous city temples including Lingaraj, Parsurameswar, Mukteswar (know as the ‘gem of Orissan architecture’) & Rajarani temple. After lunch break visit to Nandankanan Zoo (closed on Monday) .This Zoo is famous for the white tiger safari and Botanical garden. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.
Morning drive to Puri enroute visit Dhauli (Budhist stupa/ peace pagoda) , Hirapur (64 yogini temple), Pipli (the appliqué work village) & Raghurajpur (the Artisan village, the most famous attraction here are the Pattachitra (miniature paintings), palm leaf engravings, stone carvings, wooden toys, tusser paintings etc. Proceed to Puri and check in to the hotel. Evening visit of Lord Jagannath Temple (Non Hindus are not allowed) / Relax on the golden beach of puri. Overnight at Puri.
Morning drive to Konark to visit the Sun temple (one of the world famous heritage site & famously known as Black Pagoda). Enroute visit to Ramchandi temple & Chandrabhaga beach (one of the finest beaches with a long stretch of clean sands & the beach has its own lovely serenity). Return back to Puri. Evening visit to beach market. Overnight at Puri.
Drive to Dukum (near Bisamkatak) to visit weekly market of Malia kondh (weekly market commence on Tuesday only). Later visit to Dokra crafts village at Jhigidi, pottery workers village & return back to Rayagada. Return back to Rayagada. Overnight at Rayagada.
Drive back to Bhubaneswar and transfer to airport / railway station for onwards journey.
