2 Nights/3 Days Bhitarkanika National Park Tour Itinerary
Located in the north-eastern part of Kendrapara district of Odisha. The sanctuary is covering an area of 672 sq km and out of that 145 sq km is core area. The topography of the region is mangrove. The major wildlife of the Bhitarkanika National park include salt water crocodile, water monster Lizard, spotted deer, monkey, wild boar, jungle cat , fox, Jackal, mongoose, fishing cat, hyena.
The sanctuary also has a sizable bird population with prominent being 8 different type kingfisher, open bill stork, ibis , cormorants, Darters, water hen, Hupei, Tree pie, Wood Peckers, Drongos, Egrets, red jungle fowl and Herons.The flora of Bhitarkanika National Park chiefly comprises of Mangrove forest with Hental being the prominent trees.

Park Hours: 7 AM to 5 PM (Khola & Gupty Gate)
Entry Permits: Available directly at Khola and Gupty entrance gates.
Boating: Requires advance booking.
Accommodation: Eco cottages and tents are available near Khola Gate; advance booking is recommended due to limited availability.
Note: The sanctuary is closed from May 14 to July 31 and from January 1 to January 10 each year.

Day 1: Calcutta – Bhadrak – Chandbali – Bhitarkanika National Park
- Early Morning: Board the train from Howrah Station to Bhadrak.
- Late Morning: Arrive at Bhadrak Railway Station, where you’ll meet our representative.
- Transfer: Drive 2 hours to Chandbali Jetty.
- Midday: Embark on a 45-minute boat ride to Bhitarkanika National Park. The boat will bring you close to the resort, which is just a 50-meter walk from the riverbank.
- Afternoon: Check into the eco-cottage and relax.
- Evening: Enjoy a delicious veg and non-veg dinner near a campfire.
- Overnight: Stay in the resort.
Day 2: Bhitarkanika National Park
- Morning: After breakfast, begin your full-day excursion of Bhitarkanika National Park.
- Activities:
- Boating through various river creeks.
- Hiking in the core areas such as Bhitarkanika, Bagagahana, Gupty, and Dangmal.
- Spot saltwater crocodiles, spotted deer, wild boar, and other wildlife in their natural habitat.
- Activities:
- Evening: Return to the eco-cottage for dinner.
- Overnight: Stay in the resort, enjoying another night with a campfire.
Day 3: Bhitarkanika National Park – Departure
- Morning: After breakfast, take the boat ride back to Chandbali Jetty.
- Midday: Drive back to Bhadrak Railway Station.
- Afternoon: Depart from Bhadrak by train, concluding your tour.
